Volunteers always needed
Volunteers and supporters are always needed to help with all aspects of our annual event. They ensure its success. Planning, coordinating, advising and executing are all critical elements and starts months before the event and run through our salute day. You can become an advocate for all our veterans by volunteering today.
We welcome volunteers but just showing up at the parade does little good unless you’re willing to stay after and help pick up trash. The Tarrant County Veterans Council some of the greatest volunteers in the world because they are willing to meet several times during the year to plan and coordinate the event. Most return year after year and become ever better at what they do. We always need
folks because of attrition and to help lighten the load in several areas, but it takes being involved in the development that’s key. Our parade team is all made up of volunteers and we jointly plan each year’s parade to be unique, educational, and fun. We welcome you to join in and help plan our Veterans Day salute!
